Practice Nurses

Mo Wiggins Practice Nurse. Lead nurse for respiratory management, COPD/Asthma, sexual health management particularly contraception and cervical screening, with an interest in smoking cessation.

Catherine Brant Practice Nurse.  Lead nurse for Diabetes management. Catherine also works with the PCT.

Philippa Young Nurse Practitioner, with a special interest in Mental Health problems.

Vivian Roper Practice Nurse. General nursing activities plus Children's immunisations, support nurse for CHD/CVA and respiratory  management.

Claire Hallett. Triage Nurse and general nursing activities

Tina Waite Health Care Assistant. Venesection, provides support with wound care, hypertension management, and general health care promotion activities.

Jenny Haycock  Health Care Assistant. Venesection, hypertension management, and general health care promotion activities.

Specialist Practice Nurses also offer ongoing support and advice for individuals, family members and carers in the areas of asthma, diabetes, family planning, travel and well-person.

Telephone advice and triage is available each day from 8.30 to 10.00 and most afternoons.

Jackie Russell Practice Manager
She has been with the surgery for over 10 years, and started working in reception, before becoming Practice Manager in 2002

Lesley Andrews is our Finance Assistant.

Diane White is our lead secretary, and works with Lisa Dawes and Jane Ball

The Reception Team
Denise Stocks is the reception manager, and her team consists of  Mel Locke, Naomi Shrimpton, Carolyn Bowen Janet Wills, Gill Wilkins and Jackie Watkins

The practice currently provides a number of clinics, listed below, please contact reception for times and to make an appointment:

• Family Planning appointments available with the Nurse or Doctor.

• Minor Surgery can be carried out at the surgery, please book an appointment with your Doctor to discuss.

 • Medication Review Clinics with the Doctor.

The Health Visitors

• Childhood Immunisations and baby clinic with the Health Visitors (Thursday 1.00 pm-3.00 pm)

• Child Health Clinic (under 5) (1.00pm-3.00pm Thursday)

The counselling service at the surgery is available for doctor or self referral.

The Counsellor is Carole Clifford. 

A fee is usually charged for each session.
